Quality training from Pre-Ballet through Advanced levels: classes are grouped by grade, level and experience.
PRE-BALLET (Kindergarten thru 1st grade) - 1 hour per week
This class introduces children to the basic principles, steps and positions in ballet: plié, relevé, arabesque, chassé, grand jeté and more. Students develop coordination, imagination and listening skills, learning classical ballet through creative ballet movements, rhythmic exercises and imaginative dances. By spring, they can put steps together into combinations and simple center floor barre exercises.

ADVANCED Pre-pointe / Pointe
Pre-Pointe and Pointe students continue learning new steps, dance vocabulary, and technique to strengthen the mind and the body for advanced dancing. Stage presence becomes an additional focus, as dancers have increasingly more challenging performance roles. Being more serious about their ballet, these students now take class twice a week or more. Strong technique classes include barre, adagio, petite and grand allegro, turns and leaps. Stretching exercises included to increase flexibility.
* Dancers who are 6th grade and pre-pointe can also join Young Dancers Company and participate in an additional two hour class / rehearsal every week.Registration →
