Young Dancers Company is committed to setting and encouraging new standards for artistic excellence, innovation and creativity. As a Company striving for excellence, it will provide its dancers with the opportunity to expand their technique, desire and expression through classes, rehearsals and performances.

The Company strives to make each member not only a dancer but also an Artist, defined as one who is able by virtue of imagination and skill able to create works of aesthetic value. The Company desires that its dancers provide high quality, innovative performances that contribute positively to community awareness, education and appreciation of dance as an art form.

Dancers with at least three years of classical ballet training (typically, pre-pointe or higher level). Some dancers may be admitted as apprentices. Young Dancers Company admits dancers of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded or made available to dancers in the company. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national or ethnic origin in administration of its admission policies.

The Company is mainly supported by the tuition for classes paid by the dancers. Company  members also  pay a small annual fee for rehearsals, costumes, etc - "friends" of the company support our fundraisers.   The company charges a modest fee for outside performances.

Support us artistically -

The company is available to perform for schools, special events, nursing homes, in  liturgical settings and for education or entertainment within the community.  The dancers have performed with Bellarmine University, for the OC Showcase and OC Day, among others.
